Group of companies “Tellus” is formed as a result of consolidation of several enterprises: LTD Tellus and a private farm “ Popova”
The farm now is a modern agrarian company using up to date power saving approaches to agriculture. It uses seeds of high quality and ecologically clean way of soil fertilization. All these factors allow the company to get highly qualified crops on relatively small sown area.
Provision bag of the Tellus companies has been diversified according to the demands of regular customers.
Water melon and gourds occupy 30% of sown area ( mainly water melon). Sown areas of this magic fruit are in Àstrakhan and Volgograd regions ( Serafimovich, Bykovo districts)
Such geography allows to supply the customers with water melons from the first decade of July up to the first decade of October. Pumpkin ( variety “ sero- volzhskii”) covers 10% of sown area. The company deliver pumpkin’s seeds for oil and snack production
High quality white chickpea which is exported to Middle Eastern countries coves 5% of sown area. Wheat occupies 20% of area. The biggest part of the area is under the sunflower used for cooking. There are two varieties of it on the fields: “Lakomka” and “SPÊ”. They have already been appreciated by the customers due to their sweet taste and big size of seeds. The company calibrates sunflower used for cooking using “ Petcus” equipment (sieve 3.8, 4.0) and packs into polypropilen bags. It is delivered not only to many regions of Russia but also abroad : Finland, Turkey, Estonia, Byelorussia.
